All of our signs are handmade from high quality PVC & acrylic, and feature low voltage flexible neon LED. Lightweight and super bright, our NR neons are mounted on clear, durable acrylic backboard.
This product emits no annoying buzzing noises. It doesn’t heat up and is even safe for use in baby’s rooms (custom baby name sign = best gift ever. just sayin’).
LED neons are brighter than traditional neons!
All of our neons require access to mains power. They feature 2m of clear cable exiting the sign, which joins 1.5m of black cable with 12V Australian Standard certified power adapter – similar to a laptop charger – ending in a standard GPO plug. The smaller lights, such as our Kandi Love and Pointy, feature an adapter that plugs directly into the wall socket – similar to a phone charger.
Any way you like! Our signs can be mounted directly to your wall using picture hooks; or hung from wire/chain.
Please note: neons should be safely affixed using sufficient weight bearing surfaces and attachments, by qualified person/s. Cords, powerpacks and signs must be kept out of reach of children. Do not cover the powerpack. This product is suitable for indoor use only and should not be positioned in an area that is subject to water or moisture/humidity.
We do not offer installation on our products as they are lightweight and easy to hang. We do offer pre-drilled holes for hanging – let us know if you would like these added to your sign!
All NR neons can be hardwired by a qualified electrician – if you are on the Gold Coast, we recommend our friends at Talbot Electrical & Air Conditioning for all your installation needs.
We currently offer our products to Australian customers only (NZ upon request).
We do offer free shipping on all of our shop items in Australia; custom orders are quoted on request.
If you choose a NR neon that is in stock, you’re in luck! All stocked neons will be despatched from our Burleigh Heads (QLD) warehouse within 2 business days of placing your order.
Limited stock, backordered and custom products take approximately 5-6 weeks to arrive. Don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated on the progress of your order via email!
All of our neons come with a 12 month manufacturer warranty – covering faulty items and indoor use only.
As the neons are handmade to order, some small marks may appear on the sign. These are a result of the manufacturing process and should not noticeably detract from the sign’s appearance or function.

Neon Republic will accept returns and offer a full refund on unopened stocked products in original condition, provided return is completed within 28 days of purchase. Return transit is at buyer’s cost unless product is defective or incorrectly supplied by us.
