The other day I was wearing one of our new She / Her pronoun pins and I found myself being asked why pronouns are so important; and why we chose to make pins to communicate our pronouns in a visual way.

As a cisgender woman, I have fortunately generally always been called by my chosen pronoun of She/Her; however I know the offence, awkwardness and potential damage that can come from assumptions of any kind, including those of gender.
•
We are all unique and beautiful people worthy of consideration; and the only one who should be allowed to define us, is (unsurprisingly) ourselves.
•
I created these pronoun pins to allow you all to communicate who you are to the world, without assumption; without awkwardness; and without ambiguity.

What you may not know is that Jackson was lucky enough to marry Joy, the most amazing & kind woman, in August this year. 🥂

Covid may have shuffled around their original plans, but these lovebirds were wed in front of family in a gorgeous elopement ceremony on Tamborine Mountain (complete with neons of course!)

We have a running joke here that Jess is the mother of the office, and she honestly couldn't be happier for her youngest 'son' & his new wife 💞
